Jennifer Olivier

Jennifer holds an Masters Level 7 Qualification in Advanced Veterinary Physiotherapy and is also a Qualified Veterinary Nurse, registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2002. 


She has worked in Equine, Small Animal and Referral Veterinary hospitals across the UK, including at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

 

Jennifer holds a BHS level 2 sports coach in riding and specialises in rider positioning and development.

She has trained and lectured students in Diploma level 3 Veterinary Nursing and is a clinical coach.

 

Having studied several techniques including Sports Massage, Direct Pressure Techniques, Myofacial release techniques, Rehabilitation and Soft Tissue Therapy, each session can be tailored according to unique individual needs. Jennifer also uses various electrotherapies in order to target muscle, bone, joints, tendons, ligaments, wounds and scar tissue

 

As a Veterinary Nurse, Jennifer received training in providing post-operative care, physiotherapy and rehabilitation to enhance recovery.

 

Having completed an Introduction to Saddle Fitting with the Society of Master Saddlers, Saddle fitting with Jochen Schleese and several other saddle fitting courses, Jennifer is able to provide a saddle check along with conformation analysis and a static and dynamic assessment of the gait to ensure that all physiotherapy is carried out is individually tailored to the individual needs presented.

Jennifer is also able to provide your horse with a tailored exercise prescription in order to ensure that effective rehabilitation takes place post treatment.
